Voice & Data Networks, Inc., a Platinum Avaya Telecommunications dealer, is seeking a qualified Account Executive-Aftermarket to join our successful and driven Team!
This immediate opening accurately and precisely delivers cost effective Telecommunications equipment in a timely manner to businesses while providing our customers with the highest level of customer service. The Account Executive-Aftermarket employee establishes and retains relationships with new and existing customers in order to grow revenue and margin within a transactional environment. High levels of customer responsiveness, detailed follow-through and the ability to up-sell within the Avaya and compatible product lines are also required. This position must determine the requirements of the customer and develop a timely and accurate solution from either personal expertise or with the assistance of other technical resources.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Focus on existing and new accounts for consistent and immediate revenue stream.
- Cold Calling and Recording contact information using the corporate wide CRM tools.
- Cooperate with other departments to grow aftermarket opportunities within existing customer base.
- Assist in developing strategic marketing campaigns to prospective and existing customers.
- Work with vendors and suppliers SBA Process for most competitive pricing for customers.

SENIOR SOFTWARE SPECIALIST
Voice & Data Networks, Inc., a Platinum Avaya Telecommunications dealer, is seeking a qualified Senior Software Specialist to join our successful and driven Team!
This immediate opening reports to our Director of Operations and is responsible for programming all aspects of AVAYA Communications Manager, gateway and voicemail applications, as well as design and implementation of call centers. Provides customer support on PBX software including moves, adds and changes (MAC). Provide pre-sales support to the sales organization. Provide consulting and support to the customer for correct applications and implementation. Position may require travel.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for software configuration for Avaya PBX and voice messaging systems including Definity, S8300, S85XX, S87XX, S88xx, Aura, Session Manager, Intuity Audix, Communication Manager Messaging/Modular Messaging, CMS and related systems.
- Familiar with operational and procedural best practices.
- Provide appropriate application and call flow documentation.
- Responsible for system trunking assignment (analog, digital, and SIP), phone set feature activation, dial plans and voice mail assignment.
- Perform remote testing, diagnostics and maintenance on a variety of Avaya product lines and associated equipment.
- Works with the System Account Executives and Project Managers in assuring that the customer receives the highest quality service and product from VDN.
- Responsible for ensuring that implementations meet agreed customer business goals and are staged and delivered on time.
- Performs system upgrades for customers PBX, voice mail and related systems.
- When needed travels to customer site for installation.
- Duties include lab environment configuration and staging efforts while performing basic testing on components and equipment.
ABILITY, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Solid understanding of network design including T-1, ISDN, SIP, H.323, DCS and QSIGSales, inside sales and/or customer management skills

Must be able to perform services and/or complex software installation as well as equipment installation.

Must be able to troubleshoot.

Must be able to work with carrier service vendors to resolve network issues.

Must have a customer service orientation.

EXPERIENCE

3 or more years experience planning and installing Avaya PBX systems including software design required.

Knowledge of Avaya Definity, Communication Manager products and Avaya Voice Mail systems is required.

Knowledge of ASA or Provision.

Knowledge of Avaya Modular Messaging is desired.
